Solid traffic Sunday and Monday

Sunday and Monday had 28,870 and 28,915 respectively.

The Sunday traffic was due to a Fark pickup of "Trooper nodded off before hitting 2 bicyclists," while the Monday traffic appeared to be almost all local.

Top story Monday was Karen's look at whether the city's proposed bar ban plan is legal. Karen also deservs kudos for promoting Anne Mozingo's Sarah Palin blog on the parenting site that now has more than 70 comments on it.

Top photo gallery was Portsmouth Criterium.

Our average month to date is 27,461. If you exclude the one day our traffic tanked because of technical difficulties we are over our 28,000 daily goal.

As we enter the last quarter of this year let's all be thinking of ways to grow traffic another 30 percent in 2009.
